Ciara

Ciara instructs the following:
  • PureBYK
  • Your faves from the best of 2000s nu metal and hip-hop

  • BYK + Arms
  • 40 mins of BYKlyn's signature cycling class followed by a song or two of arm workouts.

  • 30 Bike + 30 Strength
  • 30 Cycle + 30 Strength is a class that is a great gateway to sampling or conquering both of our primary class formats. If new to BYKlyn, new to either one of these formats in general (cycling or strength/conditioning) or if you're looking to shock your body and add variety to your current fitness routine we recommend this class. We begin with a condensed ride on the BYK deck followed by a half-hour full body functional strength training in the front gym utilizing dumbbells, battle ropes, Pilates circles, sand bells and more. Workouts vary from class to class and can consist of solely strength training, or a combination of strength work and bodyweight cardio exercises.

Although not required, having a pair of cross training sneakers handy to change into while transitioning to the front gym is HIGHLY recommended!

  • BYK & Strength
  • Ready for a challenge?

BYK & Strength, a 50-minute class, alternates between cycling and strength training for a total-body workout. You’ll warm up on the bike, then move between high-energy cycling and muscle-building strength sets on the mat beside your bike. We use equipment like dumbbells, bands, kettlebells, sandbags, and more during the mat segments. This class is rigorours. Expect to ride. Expect to lift. Expect results. It’s cardio, strength, intensity and cross train all in one.

Notes: To offer the best experience for all, we recommend that you have experience in both our strength and cycing classes before you take this one. This class is not suggested for new clients. Also, we recommend wearing sneakers with our pedal cages to make transitions easier. SPD clip-in cycling shoes that are also suitable for strength training are welcome too.
