Welcome to NYC's first OUTDOOR cycling studio--the BYKlyn Yard. We created this space to offer outdoor classes during the pandemic. Turns out, the outdoor experience is amazing. We've got a roof to keep you dry, fans to keep you cool, sun shades to block the sun, a gorgeous mural and a banging Silent Disco sound system. Now you can get all the benefits of cycling classes OUTSIDE!
With 35 classes a week, the BYKlyn Yard schedule includes top instructors from studios all over NYC. Expect diverse classes with different types of music. In all cases, though, the BKYlyn Yard classes are fun and challenging -- hills, speed work, intervals and all the things you would do to train outside on a bike. Great music, classes programed from warm up to cool down, high energy and total fun. We're committed to inclusion: all bodies, all people, all colors, all types of athletes from newbie to competitive bikers. What you won’t get is judgement, pressure to wear fancy clothes and dance choreography on a bike.
Outdoors, really? You bet. The fresh air, blue sky, sun during the day and twinkle lights at night are the silver lining to our COVID pivot. We stayed open all winter fueled by devoted riders and a hearty staff that made it happen even in the cold. Now we're a permanent outdoor studio.
