CEO and founder
I’m Amy G., founder and CEO of BYKlyn Studios. I’m a small-town girl turned Brooklynite of 27 years, and I created the kind of gym I personally wanted to go to — welcoming, encouraging, goal-oriented, and built for regular people. With a background in business and marketing, you won’t find me teaching classes, but you will see me in class all the time. You’ll also see me around the studio (often with my dog, Wally), obsessing over the client experience and working to make BYKlyn a place people genuinely enjoy showing up to. Getting to know our clients and watching them grow stronger and more confident is still my favorite part of the job.

As a former college athlete, I found my passion in running marathons, competing in triathlons, and spending time in the gym. By day, I teach Algebra 1, and outside the classroom, I her leading fun, dynamic fitness classes. As a new mom, I understand the importance of TIME - yours will not be wasted in my class. You'll leave feeling energized, strong and accomplished!

STRENGTH
Born and raised in Brooklyn, I know what it means to fight for transformation. Once a teenager struggling with obesity, I turned struggle into strength. Through relentless discipline and self-discovery, I built a lifestyle rooted in performance, purpose, and passion. My motivation now is to help people from every background break barriers and reclaim their confidence. Driven by the belief that growth happens outside your comfort zone, I continue to inspire others to rewrite their own stories — one rep, one rhythm, one breakthrough at a time.
Meet Brennen
LIFT
I have spent 20 years trying to find the right diet and fitness approach. The years taught me one unmistakable truth - sustainable fitness needs to meet you where you’re at and add to your life, not take it over. My classes are equal parts education, gabbing, results-driven programming, and encouragement. When not in class, you can catch me competing in powerlifting, watching movies, spending time with my wife, playing video games, and hanging out with friends.

YOGA
Hi, I'm Caitlin :) I am a certified personal trainer and 500-Hr trauma-informed yoga teacher who brings a holistic approach to wellness. My yoga classes at BYKlyn are balanced, dymanic, and go beyond just stretching. My hope is to connect you more deeply to your body and help you leave my class empowered! When I'm not in the gym, I am in the recording studio making original R&B music under my artist name CTLN (check me out on Spotify) or trying the best vegan restaurants in the city.

CYCLE
My name, Chi, means “energy” and you can expect it throughout my rides. Our time together will be a positive respite from the day-to-day, a beat-driven experience designed to move your body and lift your spirit. My playlists are a reflection of my global upbringing so on any given ride I’ll go from Beyonce to Bad Bunny, from Burna Boy to Britney. Come for the workout, but stay for the fun. Outside of Byklyn you'll find me with loved ones, trying to beat the Wordlebot, obsessing over pop culture, or chasing my next PR at the gym.

My name is Christian, and I've been teaching cycling classes at BYKlyn for 5 years. In my class, you can expect a fun, yet challenging, rhythmic ride to remixes of your favorite hits! As a professional opera singer, I very much understand the importance of music, rhythm, and the movements that go along with that. Finding one's self along the way on your fitness journey can be challenging at times, so I always ensure to help you find something fun, but tough, so that you can eventually find that consistency, which I view as one of the most important factors along the way. Come on by and let's ride!

I'm certified cycling, strength, and running coach who believes fitness should be challenging, empowering, and fun. With years of experience leading group fitness classes and training for endurance events—including multiple marathons and an ultramarathon—I bring high energy, great music, and plenty of encouragement to every workout. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or brand new to Fitness, I'm here to help you feel strong, confident, and capable.

STRENGTH
I'm Declan! Straight out of Trinidad and Tobago, I bringi that high-energy island vibe to your workout. I'm a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Indoor Cycling, and Group Fitness Instructor with more than a decade of experience. For me, fitness is a pure passion, and I live to help you smash your health goals while catching a vibe. My classes—tough and creative, but a total carnival of fun where everyone is welcome and challenged. I like to keep the workouts feeling like we're kids on the playground again, running, jumping, climbing, and just having a blast so moving your body never feels like a chore. When I'm not coaching, I like the occasional obstacle races and I stay trued to his island roots by chasing the sun and the sea on the beach in Rockaway, Queens.

I'm proud to say I've been with BYKLYN since DAY ONE (2014). I've been helping people live better lives since 2002 as a cycling coach, yoga teacher, and personal trainer. My classes are designed to make you sweat, make your heart pound, but leave you wanting to come back for more. My music taste is all over the map, so you never know what you'll get song to song.

I’m a classically trained dancer turned indoor cycling instructor with a decade of experience on the bike. My teaching focuses on the intersection of high intensity, breath, and mind-body connection. I curate every playlist to drive the workout, centering every class around the pure joy of movement.

I'm a Certified Pilates Instructor and a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. With a background in dance, fitness, and rehabilitation, my classes are designed to challenge you, energize you, and leave you feeling stronger both physically and mentally. Expect empowering playlists, intentional movement, and a supportive community-focused vibe.

I’ve been teaching cycling for 20 years because I’m obsessed with making your day better. My classes are equal parts high energy and beginner-accessible, and I keep them flowing with pop-culture commentary, humor, and honesty. Expect HIIT intervals and endurance training, paired with highly curated, beat-driven playlists. When I’m not teaching, I’m writing newsletters, watching movies, and fostering my yoga and lifting practices to balance out my kooky millennial mom life!

I’m Juelz — a Brooklyn-born trainer bringing strength, energy, and good vibes into every class. Outside the studio, I’m usually lifting, hanging with my dog Guapo, and building my wellness community. I'm a passionate, high-energy fitness instructor/coach with over 20 years of experience. Born and raised in Brooklyn my love of movement was birthed in dance and kick boxing. I love a good bootcamp class and at BKYlyn, I lead the 60+ Strong & Steady classes. I've loved watching this crew get so much stronger. When I'm not at the gym, you can find me fussing over my cat.

I'm in it for the connection! As a former dancer and competitive rower, I connect the beat to the body and relish the moments when all class members move together. I also conceptualize my ride as a form of catharsis and guide riders to "leave it on the bike". Community is health!
Meet SARA
PILATES
I’m Sara! Cycle, Pilates, and Run Coach of 11+ years. Group fitness, for me, is the magic fusion of exercise, community and accountability. More ray of sunshine, less drill sergeant, we have a lot of fun while going deep and working hard. My cycle class is like a rhythmic and soulful journey into the deepest parts of you; with danceable beats and theme rides. My Pilates classes follow a classical flow that is layered for where you’re at individually and progressively challenging for everyone. Outside of Byklyn you’ll find me Mom-ing, filmmaking, swinging kettlebells, and loving up on the great outdoors. Always down to geek out about astrology, film soundtracks, and expanded states work.

Hi, I’m the BYKlyn CCO (Chief Canine Officer). I’m in charge of Client Happiness, Snack Supply and floor inspection. You’ll find me wandering all around the studio usually chasing Amy. Be patient with me. I’m new here, coming from a shelter so sometimes I bark, but I get over it quick.
